Was discouraged when I saw our wildcat formation.

That tells me we don't really have answers on offense.

I really don’t understand why our short passing game isn’t put on display more (like on our final possession) it seems this year we’re always looking for the home run instead of playing chess and methodically making our way down the field with an actual game plan. This could stem from coaching or to Tommy’s “slinger” mentality, but either way tonight can never happen again, NC State is a bad football team with a revolving door at quarterback, good teams don’t lose this game on the road or at home.. This just tells me what I’ve known since Maryland but refused to actually admit it to myself, we are just a bad football team.

The running game isn't working with the existing personnel.

Try new personnel.

NC State threw 2 true freshman RBs out there. Can you imagine such a thing?

At this point I don't care what we run just as long as we get yards and win.
style points and who cares what year it was invented, if it gets us to 6 wins I'll take it this year lol.

If your oline cannot either get push or use techniques to turn a defender or if we cannot pull and seal. It doesn't matter how good your running backs are, you are not going to get yards. Also some of our oline just don't seem to have the size I would think you need. Not sure how that happened but I would be looking at that post season as well. Need line to be strong enough and taught up enough from a technique standpoint to perform.
