If the pitching is bad like today,there absolutely no chance they can compete. Sure injuries are the major cause but the rest of the team lacks any punch or excitement. Wells is in a career slump. Brignac is swinging for the fences. Cano is still swinging at bad pitches and will never win a batting title in his career. It might be time for Joe to give Almonte a chance at the plate and field. How bad can he be at the plate in comparison with Wells at this time?Andy needs to retire and stay retired Let him go to Baylor and watch his son pitch for them next season. Maybe coach him a bit for that big contract when he decides to sign in about three years if the projections are correct on him.:noidea:
