for the most part, i prefer to watch sports on tv with the sound off and music on. i find most announcers in most sports pretty lame. basketball -- pro and college -- to me is the exception. and bilas and raft, w/mcdonough, are top of the food chain.

McDonough is hilarious during Cuse games. Fans of the opposing teams must HATE him. Spent what seemed like 15 minutes talking about how ridiculous it is we dropped to #4. Some announcers can put their rooting interests aside...he cannot. Fine by me though.

Bilas is the most pro-Cuse analyst on ESPN. Raf bleeds old-school Big East. Last week Raf was pro-Pitt to the point I thought he must have bet on Pitt with the points and once it was obvious Pitt was covering he went back to just announcing. I love the Big East Big Monday crew though they seem like they enjoy each other and announcer like its Mystery Science Theater or something.
