Okay, I am going to watch. But only because I was too tired to go to the casino and play in a poker tournament. because of our Saturday games, I won't be able to play for a few months. And every year over the last 20 i tell myself as the season winds down, this is the last time I am going to let this football team stop me from playing poker. Hopefully this year, they make it worth it.

Without FCS games, VATech would have a so-so record under Beamer and Rutgers would not have had their miracle season, you know, the one where they lit up the ESB in red>

That injury stuff is BS. There is always the risj of injury.
Why does it matter when your guy gets hurt?

Injuries can occur anytime, agreed, but my point was that it would be more of a "senseless" injury if it occurs against a team that there should have been no appreciable difficulty in defeating. For example, the injury occurs to start the second half because the starters are back out there, but the game is in hand. As such, maybe it occurred out of frustration on the opposing team's part, or maybe it is a straightforward football injury. Regardless, you lose the player for a game or maybe the rest of the season and their impact is nullified (unless he's "The Gipper"). There is no reason to expect that any specific injury would have occurred regardless of the opponent. On the other hand, if you feel it is a matter of fate, then I have no counterargument to present.
