I'll say this - I don't like that OPA is worried to this extent. IF he is worried, I am too.

The more I hear, the more concern I have that some form of cover up occurred at some point.

Gosh, I hope that that didn't happen.

But with each new story I become more and more worried.

What an awful situation.

I don't know if there has ever been any kind of cover-up, but what worries me is that every day I get up I think it can't get any worse, and it does.

Actually I do.

I had a gut feeling that we would go to the ACC.

I had a gut feeling that D. Coleman would choose SU.

And I had a gut feeling that we would beat USF and Cincy.

I try as best I can to be objective and even keeled.

Sometimes I'm right and sometimes I'm wrong. But, right or wrong I am always supportive of Syracuse University and its Athletic Department.

Agreed. OPA is off base here. The more info that comes out makes me believe that Fine fooled everybody and nobody from the University knew anything about what was going on in his dungeon. I'm feeling better tonight with his dismissal and the Davis statement's admitting Boeheim probably didn't know a thing.

He made the tape in 2002 in order to find support for his claim. He presented it to ESPN soon after that.

It's clear that Laurie is one of Davis' confidants. Perhaps he didn't want to harm her. Perhaps he hoped that she would tell investigators that she had concerns, thereby making the tape's release unnecessary.

Million dollar question and it doesn't seem odd, it seems ridiculous, the university talks to davis tells him that after our investigation by a well reknowned law firm that we think your story is bunk, Davis at that point wouldn't say well I have a tape or did they already have it? I agree with OPA this is not going well and just when you thought we may have seen the worse, well not so much.

Schwartz himself says Davis did NOT give the tape to SU in 2005 so I don't think this will be an issue. Besides one has to imagine theres multiple copies of the original report out there and it's implausible to think that that they'd redact it and take out the tape being and now say its not in it, as it's impossible to think that with it being out there someone wouldnt come forward with an original copy and blow it up. Just doesn't make sense. What also doesn't make sense is why he'd give it to the PS in 2002 but not a copy of it to SU in 2005 for their investigation and keep the original. Adds more insanity to an already insane situation.
