He already said Robinson is returning. Big mistake. I understand loyalty but the biggest problem with a lot of head coaches is that they don’t make the hard calls. If Robinson stays he needs to have his pay cut in half at least. If he does want the pay cut he can leave. Use the money to get a better play caller for D.

Well I disagree I think The DL had 0 talent , the secondary was fine and the LB was below average. Thr coaching staff needs to be better need a lot of people off this team staff and personnel alike.

I’ve heard the “no talent” thing over and over and over on this board for years. Sometimes it’s true. Most of the time it’s people reacting to results and not potential.

Early last season I read some folks complain about our WR talent. Then McCord started tearing it up and all that talk disappeared.

I think most folks here are not really capable of evaluating talent.

We were all told this past week that the team and the coaches have not quit on this season and that it's absolutely killing everyone involved on the team to go out like this.

I hope that is true, even if it's not evident on the field.

Apparently was killing themselves so much the coaches couldn’t bring themselves to coach the last two weeks or gameplan.

My son’s high school hockey team went through a very similar thing last year.

Second year coach played the hell out of his freshman class (private school so many of them were there for hockey) and basically washed his hands of the seniors.

Seniors didn’t “quit” but they were playing for themselves and weren’t exactly driven to win.

Fun postscript: that coach was fired for some crummy things off the ice.

I should clarify since I got a bunch of WOW emojis… Fran has spent the past month talking incessantly about his recruiting class, Angeli coming back, and next season. If I were a senior I’d be angry about how he cut bait on a class that helped him win 10 games last year. That’s how I see Fran “quitting” on some of the team.

What different personnel played compared to Game 1 or 6? Who did we bench? We were using Nixon and Villari in the 4th quarter extensively. Not like we handed the RB keys to Kerr to develop him. Waste of time… losing and not getting experience for young guys.
