We'll play 5 ranked teams on the road. GTech will be ranked tomorrow with SMU hovering around#25 (that would be 6). Most teams havent even played a P4 opponent yet this year and most of them that did it was at home.
#5 Strength of Schedule if you go by this SI article preseason. Likely our schedule is becoming more manageable than it was a month ago but still.

Not much different than 2024, we stunk in everything except passing offense last year, and that doesn’t even include horrific special teams. That being said, I will take 6-6 in a heartbeat

Good enough because we scored a lot, but the D definitely made a lot of clutch plays in crunch time. I’m not defending this team, to be clear, which is why I will be thrilled just to make a bowl

I know most of your post is about the D, but we don't even try to run the football. We came out Friday against Colgate slinging it around. It was the complete opposite of what I felt we should do with Colgate.

SU was 11th in passing offense in 2016 and 18th in 2017. They won 8 games in two years.

People think the team is shot because we couldn't overcome spotting 17 to tennessee in the first quarter of the season. The refusal to acknowledge the teams played even the rest of the game is odd.
