Wow, the difference two weeks makes. The main thing I’ve learned, the QB needs to lead and operate with confidence whoever that may be. We need our QB to be a dawg. If there is one good thing that can come from this is perhaps the defense continues to lock in more especially knowing they can’t rely on a consistent high powered offense moving forward. I think many of us here are nervous. Not really having to do with losing games right now. We’ve experienced a lot of losses and very awful losses in the last 20 years especially. The nerves is whether our other positions groups on all sides of the ball continue to stay locked in, developing, and improving each week. Even if we won’t realize their improvements based on the QB play. That future recruits that the staff especially prioritized as top targets will still buy into the vision of what is being built here. As fans, we just have to continue to have faith and belief, we have evidence that excellence is possible here. This really sucks, I really started to see a path that we were looking at a season that would top 2024 at halftime of the Clemson game. At this point, just continue to support, show interest as fans in caring, we may not all agree on each others takes and opinions, it’s ok, stopping to express those takes whether we like them or not, really would be a bad indicator of apathy setting in. Most of all, while this time period is hard as a passionate and loyal fan, just try to enjoy and look forward to all the other parts of the gameday experience whether you’re at the games or at home. Hopefully, this is proven to be an overreaction because either Collins gets it together and does not throw short balls into triple coverage or Carney gets his opportunity and operates with confidence and is a dawg. When we get to the other side, you can say you had faith and belief with evidence lol. This post is meant to be informational and a bit of satire with the shoutout to our former coach. How is everyone generally feeling today regarding the program?

Good post. Really nails it. Gotta hope carney is as good as many of us think and can save the season (meaning, for this season six wins and a bowl game)

Joe Filardi is the next great QB at SU.

My faith in this team and coaches remains strong. I trusted in HCFB's assessment of his QB pool during the Fall camp, even if that assessment was apparently somewhat misplaced 🙄.
But Fran is throwing his freshmen into the crucible, giving some of them top shelf roles. There will be growing pains. Even though we're not dealing with sanctions like the '95 Miami Hurricanes, they were forced to throw frosh into the mix out of necessity. Their records at the time showed their growing pains. But it eventually led to a National Championship, and plenty of 1st round draft picks. Guys like Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Edgerrin James, Bubba Franks, etc.
Maybe I'm nuts, but I think Antoine Deslauriers is starting look a little like Ray Lewis.
Anyway, this is far from a team I'm giving up on, especially in the long run. Hoping Fran uses even more freshmen on both sides of the ball.

The only difference between Antoine DesLauriers and Ray Lewis is that ADL will be murdering the opposition ON the field!
