Keep in mind Ped St has to play Mich., Mich. St., and Ohio St. yet. None of those games would be considered a stupid loss.

Correct and that is my point. OSU, UM and MSU all have one loss already. They also have not looked as strong as PSU so far this year and I don't think they have the tools to knock them off. MSU plays gutsy but just doesn't have the horses. UM needs a consistent, healthy QB and OSU needs to improve their running game and Barret's decision making in big games is a problem. Expectation is at worst PSU loses 1 and OSU is the team with the best shot to knock them off the playoff.
