So yeah, I've had Royal Farms chicken once. It's pretty badass. Like seriously.

Rutgers - White Castle - "We invented fast food!" but nobody really cares anymore and you're not a top brand

They do have some pretty terrible ones, but for the most part I do enjoy going to them. I’ll till the Sheetz over them.
My family and I are making the trip from Knoxville back up to Syracuse in a couple weeks. We're looking forward to stopping at Sheetz while passing through PA.

We can walk to our Sheetz in less then 5 minutes. It's both a blessing and a curse lol.

Wawa was one of my favorite parts about going to college in Pennsyltucky.

Getting a pack of smokes, an Underdog and turkey sub after a night of debauchery was fantastic.

I quit smoking years ago but still get a craving on the rare occasion I pass a Wawa.

I’ve had that stupid Bloodhound Gang song stuck in my head since I read this “Do you even know what a Wawa is...”

They're In Virginia, too. I've been to several from Williamsburg to Fredericksburg but don't know if they're elsewhere. I haven't seen them in northwest Virginia. Nice upgrade...

I saw this on Twitter a couple days ago.

I’ve been to one in Williamsburg as well, right across from W&M. Here in Jersey we take our Wawas very seriously. Basically, it’s a Nice N Easy. Stil, not a fast food restaurant.

The ACC as fast food places.

@TheDannyBarry

VIRGINIA - Way too pretentious of a place for the product it puts out. They're Shake Shack.

CLEMSON - Dominant. Solid. Sturdy. Nationally recognized and respected. They're McDonald's.

FLORIDA STATE - You might dislike them for ethical reasons, but you can never deny how good they are. They're Chick-fil-A.

NORTH CAROLINA STATE - You're going to walk by without a problem, but they lure you in with their sense of promise. You get a taste, and you get excited. But then you're left slightly disappointed and wishing there was more. They're Auntie Anne's.

LOUISVILLE - Came out of nowhere and were solid for a while. Everyone thought they'd stick it out with the best of 'em. But then they were marred by a scandal that's slowly taken them down. They're Chipotle.

WAKE FOREST - You have a pretty great memory from years ago, but you've never brought yourself to go back. They're Arby's.

BOSTON COLLEGE - Solid. Reliable. Sturdy. Hearty. Built for DUDES. They're Boston Market.

SYRACUSE - Beloved by a small subset of the country who won't shut up about them. Think they're a football school when really they're just a basketball school. They're Wawa.

MIAMI - Stuck in the past. Produces some really solid talent if you're willing to wait a bit. They're Steak 'n Shake.

VIRGINIA TECH - They're way better at night when you're drunk. They're Cookout.

GEORGIA TECH - They run the same three plays in a variety of formats. Also the day after playing them, you feel like . They're Taco Bell.

NORTH CAROLINA - You always hear about them, they're everywhere, and you're never really sure why. You're not convinced everything about them is legit. They're Subway.

DUKE - They technically play football, but everyone just goes for the basketball. They're Dairy Queen.

PITTSBURGH - Usually you're perfectly fine. But every once in a while they completely mess you up. They're Panda Express.

NOTRE DAME - Absolutely everywhere. Their fans permeate every city they're in. Not technically part of the ACC. Way better local alternatives exist. They're Starbucks.

Dead on perfect.

I’ve been in many Maryland Wawas. So for the purpose of this piece, a convenience store is now fast food restaurant?

Great subs

West Virginia is eating squirrel roadkill cooked by your cousin wife.

Your cousin’s wife is probably also a cousin

Now in Florida. Think they are really good. Good hoagies. I"m a fan.

The analogy of Syracuse football and Wawa is a complete fail. The writer is skewed to southern thinking and could care less about the Orange.

Wawa isn’t a fast food chain. That’s a turrible analogy.

If you want to go that route, regional but fiercely loyal, then we’re In N’ Out.

With the southern lens of this viewpoint, along with the regional & "fiercely loyal" trait, I'd say Zaxby's. :)

Sheetz>>>Wawa. Wawa does have decent subs and breakfast sandwiches but Sheetz has more variety.

I'd say we're more of an Arby's... Little old, little run down, seen better days... But, at the end of the day, when you go slummin', we're there. We're your dirty little secret and there for you when you need us. Go ahead, indulge in 4 beef-n-cheddars, treat yo-self.

But it's nothing like Subway, it's good. And they have a good coffee setup, good road snack, healthy options, etc. Wawa is good stuff.

WaWa has a lot in common with Byrne Dairy stores.

Arby’s is an absolute abomination, sir.

An abomination of the greatest kind.

Arby's hasn't been the same since they took away the fixin's bar, to load up your sandwiches.
