This "work in progress" rebuilding effort is starting to show progress

Some continue to complain and second guess everything. We are 0-2 so far but can clearly see a new path and a door opening. This team will make noise in the big east this year. Just watch it unfold.

The recruiting is coming along. You can still see where talent levels on the field level off vs competition like USC. But the kids we have are getting better and are competing.

Argued last week with someone who complained about dr gross upsetting the season ticket holders and the USC game in nj. He hasn't renewed his season tickets since the wheels came off under the previous coach. Had no intention of getting them this year, but complained anyway. I told him to go piss in his hat. The team needs you more now than ever.

Ive never been more optimistic about an 0-2 team in my life! That being said, we NEED to make a bowl game. Its imperative. Do that, wit the way we're recruiting, new offense and the attacking defense and this program could come back in a big way.

I seriously dont see any team left on the schedule that we shouldnt beat. Watching us in defeat against a solid NW team that would be a contender to win the Big East and a Natl Champ contender in USC, we've been more impressive against better competition than anyone in the Big East even though we're 0-2. When we start playing teams of lesser competition im expecting some arse kicking. Take away the insane amount of mistakes in the NW game and just look at the number and we were clearly the better team. We made mistakes again vs USC and still had the ball, down 4, going into the 4th quarter. This team has crazy potential.

Although we do have many seniors starting the depth of this team, who contribute so much, are very young. It is going to be interesting to see these kids when they are seniors.

Totally agree on all points. The mistakes are tough to swallow but hoping they will overcome and keep improving. Really think this team is gaining momentum. Not going to get carried away on any predictions.


Bowl is a must. You are dead on there!!!
