I have no idea how they’ve developed these hitches. JJ never had it until his first year at Cuse. Red and the staff have gone with the conventional coaching route and not forced the players to change their mechanics and motion, but to stick with what they’re doing in order to maintain consistency. But that’s a mistake. They need to go against the grain and tell the players they need to completely change their shot mechanics and what they’re doing and find a new routine. The hitches are crazy and bizarre and need to be eliminated by any means necessary.
