Is it possible we have the 2nd best DL in conference?
FSU has no identity at the moment. They have lost the mindset of how to win. How quickly culture can be corrupted. As we saw post McNabb, you have a small window to get your shnit together or you can lose it.
I questioned why Devito didn’t get more game reps with the 1s. Ahem. We good.
FSU’s OT’s have a future as matadors if this football thing doesn’t work out.
Finally, something I have been pondering for a while. The “be the alpha” idea. In the post game speech, DFB spoke of remembering who was there with you from the beginning. I think that is the essence of be the alpha.
It doesn’t mean “hey I’m so good I will go to Alabama and win the starting job.” It doesn’t mean stepping in to commandeer something that others built. It means building something yourself, from scratch.
Lotta “blue chip” players not willing to be the alpha. Their loss.
