The IPF is amazing. We wont lose a kid because of our "stuff"

Shafer and his staff our a true family. Who doesnt want him to make it? The guy is perfect for Syracuse. He knows what we are about and how to sell our school. Great guy, great staff very proud to have him as a person as our head coach. Hope the wins come as i would like for him to be our next Ben

Talent is improving. The new kids look the part. I dont think we have looked this good in years.

Thin. Pray for Hunt, our Dl, and Center as we have very little behind them. The other positions have more depth but QB DL and Center are on thin ice.

Womack= WR period done end of discussion the kid has talent and he is not a D1 QB

Wilson. Stock dropping. Im a fan as he throws a beautiful ball but he just doesnt have the sense needed.

Dungy. Starter next year

JF. Not ready to hand the keys to Washington. I liked and picked this kid to shine over the other backs and i believe he is the real deal. potential superstar

Carter. The true swagger beast. Cant wait to see this kid in two years.

Thomas. Watch out long term. Next year is his

Dixon total weapon and future and will make the nfl

Ish. All ACC third team this year and next only because he lacks a true QB but will make and start in the nfl

Lester. A really good coach. Understands our players and has their respect.

Coyle. True pro God send for Syracuse. HOME RUN.

i am a fan of hcss. he needed to mature in the job and i believe he has done so. its nice that people talk about "family". personally, that concept as far as football team go does not mean much to me. i want a decisive, mature individual who is not afraid of innovation and creativity. i feel his action last year in the mcdonald situation spoke positive volumes of shafers maturing into the job, taking risks, and being decisive. i have confidence that shafer will have the guts to to explore more options, and will move to replace players that fail to perform. i wish su had extended his contract now, as a statement of confidence for recruiting purposes.

Womack probably won't end up being a D-1 QB b/c he was moved, but how can you tell?

You make all of these statements after watching them once?

"Lester... Understands our players and has their respect." This cannot be emphasized enough.

With a thin secondary (and Blair's ineligibility) and seemingly a number of capable running backs (plus the likely arrival of Washington next season), should the coaching staff consider moving a couple tailbacks to defense? If I recall correctly, McFarlane and Strickland were high school safeties?
