It’s beyond a marketing issue. For those extra 6-8k we need to buy seats, the product keeps underperforming on getting that next-win momentum versus the amount of leaves on the lawn.

No. The only game we could have potentially had a big crowd for was NC State and even a UNC win would make it tough. 40k is possible i guess if we look good for UNC, but barely. Win vs Pitt and UNC and I could have seen us getitng closer to 44k

i think tickets will be around the fsu game for the game next week, we win that game we could get over 40 vs nc state as the map is better than any other game at this point

Our two decade old MO of laying a big stinky deuce when we look like we might break through is intact. It’s almost laughable when I hear the coach and other fans question why we can’t fill the Dome. Well your honor I present to you exhibit ZZZ the Pitt debacle of 2018.

All that being said I thought we were a 5 or 6 win team at the start of the season and it looks like that’s who we are. I guess they sucked me in again just to nut shot me again. Oh well, I still see progress. The LBs, RBs and WRs were everyone’s concerns coming into the season and for good reason. They aren’t very good.

Was watching the game at Lake House Pub in Skaneateles. Not 10 seconds after the INT in OT was thrown, guy turns to his two buddies and goes “I know we were planning on going to the UNC game, but I’m out.” They agreed. Now extrapolate that.

I was infuriated and had to walk away.

Honestly - I get it as to why people don't go to games. I've been to almost every home game for the past decade-plus and I'm always trying to convince others to go, but if they don't feel like spending 4+ hours of their Saturday rooting on a perennial disappointment, then who am I to judge them? Seems as though I've been led on to believe things are turning around only to receive a swift kick to the groin more times than I can count.

Family weekend and alumni weekend will help the next two a little bit. I will be there but understand if people don't go, I will say I may leave if I get a Dino fan lecture during his halftime walk off interview. that is getting old for me

What if we had played a tough game vs FSU and lost in OT then lost to clemson on the last play and beat Pitt by 20.. people would be over joyed.. but reverse it and people are bummed..

4-2 is still 4-2. now lose to UNC and suddenly you can see hope starting to blow away..

Pitts isnt awful, just avg, buy they have size and some skill

all the doom and gloom and only allowed 375 yds of offense.. thats good.

we sucked running the ball yet avg over 4 so it wasnt all sucky

the passing game lost the game yet we still scored 37 you cant go 18-38 in this offense when most of the misses were just bad throws to open guys.

we were 42/177 4.2

pitt was 47/265 5.6

revers the one run

42 for 242 5.7
47 for 200 4.2

the running games were dead even but the one run..

they threw 1 ten yr pass for 70 so 19 for 70..

really 2 bad plays on D from a really good 300 yd effort,

Numbers be damned, I held my breath almost every time they ran the ball. There was a sense that they could take it to the house every run. I don't have that sense with our guys.

Unfortunately your post is 100% spot on. I am at every home and will be there for UNC but the days of trying to convince/canjole people to attend games is pretty much over me. Its just not worth the effort when SU always lays an egg after you just got done talking them up and explaining how this year is different. I hope the first post next Saturday b$tiching about the lack of attendance gets ripped and someone posts a link back to this thread.

Got the same reaction out of several friends ib my tailgating group. Very frustrating
