His decision making and bball IQ on the floor were awful all year long. The way he was used under Stoudamire successfully hid a lot of his flaws. He does not play connected with his teammates often he’s seemingly in his own world on the court. He also has no feel for when to drive and when to pull up.

This would be a truly stunning turn of events. Nait does not have a quality basketball IQ and is allergic to defense.

I mean he's prob better than he showed this year just due to coaching/scheme but his career stats are his career stats and he's just not really a winning player

I'm honestly surprised he didn't get more run. Not that his play warranted it, but this was a kid who EXCELLED in international competition, and a helluva shooter. That set of experience / skills should have translated.

I expect him to bail, but wouldn't be disappoitned if he stays. Despite the somewhat limited athleticism, he's got the right tools and I could see him developing into a nice college player.

Also while he didn’t do a lot right on the court he wasn’t given the opportunity as Red was all about Zephyr over giving Fennell a shot.

With that set shot and lack of speed… he isn’t worth whatever he’s demanding. We can do better. He also completely quit on games. We need better attitudes. We have money.

I could really see GMac being able to develop Fennell. He has some really good tools and potential.
