This You-Tube page has quite a number of videos taken in long-past decades and remastered in every way you can to give them such depth and clarity that it will make you feel you had a time machine an have actually been transported back to that era. I find them mesmerizing to watch, especially when we're in a moving car. Watch one before you go to bed and you might wind up dreaming that "you are there":
