That is what I suspected. Was hoping that something would break before the games Saturday but I guess its a wait and see thing.

Unless there are some backroom deals cut, I would think we would need to wait until Saturday night (after the Dumpster Fire Knights TM game ends).

I just heard an interview with the GA Tech AD. He said that he hopes to find out Saturday evening which would give them almost a day to start planning before the official announcement comes out.
