I feel like you have something against Tommy.
Yes, fourth year junior with a lack of progression on his reads, no pocket presence, not a big threat to run, too many 3 and outs. He may have great passing skills and arm strength but my eyes tell me he’s not a serviceable QB for Syracuse. With a suspect OL we need a QB that can gain yards when the play breaks down.

I’m pretty sure he is a 4.5 or below guy. He ran a sub 11 100M dash at one point during HS, and is like a 55M indoor state champ.

Tucker was indeed a HS track stud.
He may not be < 4.4 like Jawhar is, but he’s also got at least another 30+ pounds on the Jaguar.

I’d take his vision, cuts, and balance as the every down RB1 over being a tenth faster in the 40.

Oh, and he almost always falls FORWARD when he’s being tackled - that extra yardage adds up over 15-20 carries.

I literally don't disagree with anything you just said. I don't have a problem with anything you just said. It's just, every time I've seen you post about Devito you've come off as kind of a dick. I'm not mad at what you're saying, just how you say it. It just seems weirdly personal.

Good grief! The truth hurts, even though it's true, the least you can do is candy coat for me so I don't think you come across like "a dick." Remember, "every time" you see a post of his in which you interpret it as you do, it's 100% your own thinking that makes him come across as "a dick."

Tucker looks like he is going to be special. Speed, power, vision, and balance. I think he has the potential to be a difference-maker in this offense.

Yeah, that has nothing to do with anything. It's not about his take on Tommy its about how he spouts it off. You don't have to candy coat anything, but you don't need to be an a$$ either. I'm not saying this post in particular but cumulatively.

So fizz didn’t see the chart showing tommy had the least support in the country .. least , last ... fizz is lucky idc what the FANATICS
Think they know . Because if I did he wouldn’t be posting

And we had Trishton Jackson, Abdul Adams and Jarveon Howard.

Clemson defense was 3rd last year. This year they are 4th excluding teams that only played 1 game so far
I'd take Tucker over all those other backs.

Teams are separated by intensity
Emotion , desperation that’s the difference Clemson yawned at us . last year they wanted us in prime time . You watch a NFL team dominate a game vs a good team on Monday night and squeak by vs a lesser team the next week

agree

Tommy is awful. Would we rather start him? Of course. But he is still dreadful

Just trying to be honest. It is a fan board look at our record since TD has been QB1; it’s not impressive. By the way, I LOVE Sean Tucker’s potential and production at RB. It’s interesting that he can be so productive behind a suspect line. I guess talent and football instincts lead to positive production. Wish we had talented “football” players across the offensive side of the ball.

If it makes you feel better about the team, I also love many of the defensive players. Once we get a few runs stuffing 300+ pound defensive tackles our defense should really begin to click. Also, Garrett Williams is just fantastic; to play on an island as a Frosh against top ACC WR’s is so impressive.

Please let me know if you like this orange-colored post better. Fortunately, we all want the same thing - a winning team that makes us all proud. LGO!!!

I’m not sure what statistics you’re referencing but I’m sure Eric Dungey also didn’t have great support and he led us to a 10-win season. The quarterback position is the most important position in football, and at Syracuse We need a quarterback who can make positive plays when things break down

Tommy did very well with that roster to
