His alleged trip to Pittsburgh. Why has this not been confirmed or dispelled yet? His father denies it ever happened and denies his son ever met or stayed with Bernie. Why have we not heard more about this case? I'm sure the investigation included quizzing Tomaselli about what hotel they stayed at, what the room looked like and other details that could be verified. Don't understand this part.

Maybe because they haven't released details of the investigation? No doubt they quizzed him on the bus trip, the hotel, the team dinner he claims to have gone to etc. Or are you wondering why it hasn't been leaked yet? They do have Pittsburgh PD doing some leg work. I think if the story pans out, it will be reason to arrest Bernie if there aren't reasons beforehand.

Isn't it true that Tomaselli has said his own father abused him? If that is true how credible is the father? I have no doubt that law enforcement will do a very thorough investigation and we'll know in due time through official channels whether or not his claims pan out.

They do have Pittsburgh PD doing some leg work. I think if the story pans out, it will be reason to arrest Bernie if there aren't reasons beforehand.

I wonder about this one. And who will take custody - the feds, or local Pitt PD? Probably Pitt would want extradition and custody, but the feds may want to keep him if there is the possibility of additional crimes in other states with other victims.

Does anyone know if the records for passengers or SU-sponsored attendees for the games that the ball boys were allegedly on would date back to some of these "trips", or would it be clear from the broadcast of the games, most likely?

I would think there is footage, Fitzgerald was a band-box of a Gym and if I remember correctly the coaches/teams faced the camera

Maybe the airlines have a flight manifest for the given time period? Not sure how long they keep those on file.

Unless it was a terrible snow storm, I remember us driving one year due to a storm. It was more than AC up against a break imo. Shwarz said twice I have heard his story, wasn't in a hurry to talk about it. I bet ya im right, we'll see.

NY Daily News - Alleged Bernie Fine sex abuse victim Zach Tomaselli says his own father molested him, too

The article above was posted at 4:39 PM this afternoon and says the following: "Tomaselli also described in graphic detail his alleged 2002 encounter with Fine, which Tomaselli said took place while he attended an autograph session in the city. The Syracuse basketball team was in town to play a game."

By the sound of it, Tomaselli was in Pittsburgh separately from the Cuse hoops team and met Bernie while he was there.

In the 2001-2002 season, Cuse played at Tennessee on Saturday, January 19, 2002 followed by a game at Pittsburgh on Tuesday, January 22, 2002. I don't know what time the Tenn game was but if it was a late game on Saturday night, it would make sense that the team would stay in Knoxville on Saturday night and then fly to Pittsburgh on Sunday for Tuesday's game.

Monday, Jan 21, 2002 was MLK Day so Tomaselli was probably off from school and he conceivably could have "met" Bernie on Sunday or Monday night... but who lets their kid travel to Pittsburgh alone?
