NY Daily News - Alleged Bernie Fine sex abuse victim Zach Tomaselli says his own father molested him, too

The article above was posted at 4:39 PM this afternoon and says the following: "Tomaselli also described in graphic detail his alleged 2002 encounter with Fine, which Tomaselli said took place while he attended an autograph session in the city. The Syracuse basketball team was in town to play a game."

By the sound of it, Tomaselli was in Pittsburgh separately from the Cuse hoops team and met Bernie while he was there.

In the 2001-2002 season, Cuse played at Tennessee on Saturday, January 19, 2002 followed by a game at Pittsburgh on Tuesday, January 22, 2002. I don't know what time the Tenn game was but if it was a late game on Saturday night, it would make sense that the team would stay in Knoxville on Saturday night and then fly to Pittsburgh on Sunday for Tuesday's game.

Monday, Jan 21, 2002 was MLK Day so Tomaselli was probably off from school and he conceivably could have "met" Bernie on Sunday or Monday night... but who lets their kid travel to Pittsburgh alone?

Could Bernie have taken Tomaselli on the team bus to give him his autograph?

If Tomaselli's story ends up being total bull, what does that mean legally if the PD used his corroboration as the reason for the search warrant? Not trying to go anywhere with this--just curious.
