Was Maryland in the B1G when they beat us?

NC State is a good line in the sand, we beat them solidly our first year in the ACC, then the two programs moved in very different directions.

Shafer won @Maryland in 2013 when it was a conf game and lost to Maryland at the dome in 2014 when they were in the B1G.

Going back to 2009 we had close call wins against Tulane, Villanova, Rhode Island, CMU, and Toledo in Non-conf. "inferior" games but neither Doug or Scott lost those games. Dino lost to USF last year (good team) and MTSU this year (too early to tell).

We need to win the games we're supposed to win in non-conference. If we lose next week to CMU the season is pretty much a lost cause.

Was at that Maryland game, they lined up like their 4th string QB. The next season they smoked us. And then they fired their coach and are getting better.

Was Toledo the game with the missed call on the FG?

Yesterday we blew a fumble walk in and 2 inside the 5s, and a muffed punt. WE need to clean that up but doesnt change who these guys are.
