I'd wager hes at the top (if not the top) of our NIL distribution already, but thats with zero inside knowledge.

I saw this tweet this morning and this news makes much more sense now. Staff was probably really distraught about something. Trebor was much more than just a player for this staff.

I am not shocked by this at all. Offers were coming in early. You can only say no so many times until the right offer comes along. I think Fran was preparing for this. That’s why he brought Russell in.

Hung out with his mom and his family at the pinstripe bowl for a half hour. Then this past Saturday I felt something off with mom and Pena’s girlfriend. Mom got kinda quiet when I told her how happy I was to have Trebor back this year. Now it makes sense.

I wish him the best of luck. He earned this opportunity.

This is just the reality of the situation in college sports now. Sucks but it is what it is. At schools that aren't the SEC/B10, you hope you create a culture that kids want to stay, and I think Fran is doing that, but you are still going to have kids chase the all-mighty dollar.
