Tu Holloway

Not to necessarily pick on you, since I've seen this multiple times, but Holloway is a senior in college, and far from a teenager. His words and actions are inexcusable, and he should have been punished a couple more games. 1 game is a joke for someone in his position, who is supposed to be a senior leader and one of the faces of college basketball this year. Sorry, but his true colors showed up in a big way.

Hey, I can kind of go by that, but it's a known fact that all men do not mature by the time they leave college. Should he know better, sure, and I bet once he got to step back, he realized how dumb the whole thing was. This may just help him in his development or maybe it will do nothing for him.

Clearly just the black kids.

Eric Devendorf was black?!

Sorry, not to make light of your post, just the first thing that popped into my head. Can you imagine what Devo would've done if someone sucker punched him?

He did enough embarrassing things without anyone sucker-punching him; I'd hate to see it.

(In his defense, I think one of the Seton Hall players might've slapped him during that skirmish in the 2009 Big East Tournament and he was really cool about it. So maybe he was a bit less thuggish than I gave him credit for.)

Just like any other upstanding Syracuse basketball player Devo would have politely asked him to refrain from striking him in such impolite manner. At worst he would have asked him to settle the dispute like a gentleman over a round of croquet.

I'm actually surprised they let the kids speak to the media following the fight. This isn't the NBA - they don't get fined for not speaking to media, correct? The kids are obviously still heated from the fight that happened 30 minutes ago, and the only thing on their mind is trying to look "tougher" than the opponent.

Like NBA teams never draft "thugs"... See Kenyon Martin #1 overall, Allen Iverson #1 overall... the list goes on and on. This will have zero impact on his draft position... unless the Pacers pass on him LMAO
you're two examples are from 10+ years ago

Tyreke Evans got drafted two years ago and he was the driver in a fatal drive-by shooting.

Hahaha. Slap fighting? Somehow that doesnt surprise me since its Seton Hall.

meh look at Javaris Crittenton, after the he pulled, and can't buy his way back onto a team

If he was talented enough I'm sure he'd be playing somewhere.

True, but an extremely talented Ray Lewis had 32 teams wanting him after a murder trial, and still does to this day.

And that nut Brandon Meriwether was a major participant in the Miami brawl (a worse actor than Tu Holloway in his brawl, by a long shot) and was drafted the next spring, too. Not sure if the NFL treats punks differently than the NBA; seems to me that everyone gets a second chance.

Tampa Bay likes guys with issues. LeGarrette Blount and our own Mike Williams.

Yeah, he would have said, "Hey! If you do that again, Paul Harris is gonna kick your a$$, now please stop it".
