TV Schedule and Peacock

Has anyone found the game listed if you use the Prime free trial option?

I’m assuming I need to use the prime app but the game is not showing up anywhere.
No luck. It appears, based on a variety of things I've read, Peacock will restrict access to certain content when conducting a free trial. They apparently are very aware we will subscribe to the freebie for one game and then cancel. I really can't understand why anyone would pay for Peacock Premium. Just a bunch of reruns, old movies, and rugby matches.

Poker Face is actually a really good series. Especially if you are of a certain age and appreciate the homage to Columbo. One or two others that I watched were good as well. The also have exclusive rights to some live college basketball from the Big Ten and Big East games and additional Olympic coverage.
That being said I likely wouldn’t subscribe if it didn’t come free with my Spectrum subscription.

Hopefully, someone will have a sketchy livestream to post or DM us.

Upon further reading, if you do the Peacock free trial, apparently it is through the Prime existing app. I figured it was a free trial of everything Peacock offered, but if some of you are finding differently, I apologize for any confusion.

Here are a few possible suggestions along with the previously mentioned Walmart+

  • Instacart+: Sign up for the 14-day free trial of Instacart+ and activate the included Peacock Premium benefit from your Instacart account page.
  • Xfinity: Xfinity internet customers may get a free Peacock Premium subscription with certain Xfinity NOW TV plans.
  • Spectrum: Eligible Spectrum TV Select customers may receive a free Peacock Premium (with ads) subscription.
Also, as Bulldog has mentioned, you may want to check your credit card to see if there are any cash back rewards offers for Peacock to partially offset the cost. Capital One Savor has one, but I am not sure of the specific details.

Okay, so this is kind of convoluted, but it just worked for me. I can see the Syracuse/Drexel game in upcoming events. It does not ask for a credit card, just email addresses. Also, it is a little tricky finding the Peacock activation.

I also signed up for the apparently useless free trial through Prime last night, and I also cannot find the game. I can find other games though, like the Arizona/UCLA game last night. Wouldn't that figure that the Syracuse game isn't available though.

Look at my post right above yours here.

For those on YTTV without access to today's BB game on Peacock - it is "possible" they may show a replay of the game on Monday on the new NBC Sports Network when it debuts (initially only) on YTTV. I have no idea if it will.

This is the way.

SneakyFrenchSpy he's the guy with the magical links :)
Otherwise, for us cheapskates or people who can't spend the money for a lousy peacock, hopefully WAER radio is rocking. That's how I hope to rock:

Based on internet research, this is the direction I would go in at this point if you are not a current Peacock subscriber and don't have it through your tv package.

You're a prince. Give this guy a medal.

I think many subscribers to DirecTV (satellite) now have free access to Peacock. I don't know about DirecTV Stream. I've had Peacock for a number of year (got a very cheap rate a few years ago). I just made sure I have access and was watching a bit of the first game. I noticed there is no pause ability like there is now on the ESPN app.
