Kid is from Glastonbury, Connecticut and may be a good fit. He was phenomenal in ‘21 throwing for 25 TDs and 6 ints. His last season in Miami he threw a more pedestrian 19 TDS and 12 ints, and completed 65.8% of his passes. Protect him well and he will throw up big numbers. Does make mistakes at times and will throw ints. I would expect him to be similarly productive to McCord. He’s worth a look.

As a 1 year stop gap that might be ok. I fully expect next year Cuse takes a step back. I see 6 or 7 wins...hope I'm wrong on the low side.

Why bring in a one year stop gap over someone that can get through a tough schedule next year and develop for 2026?

Especially one off a torn ACL that had one good season 3 years ago?

I'm just spitballin...no idea how ready Fran thinks the current/incoming QB stable is. A one year guy buys you time while you get Williams, Carney, etc...ready for '26.

We all want the best QB but these are weird times.

His R-FR year at Miami I was like Daaannnnngggg since then it’s been woof. That 1st year at Miami I was bummed Cuse missed on CT kid. Haven’t felt that way since.

Didn't he play under Lashlee at Miami? Not sure it is much deeper than that (perhaps a good NIL deal to go with it?)

He tore his ACL this year, so I'm assuming he may be redshirting this year while he recovers? Maybe that explains it. Jennings was also awful in the playoff
