UCONN Attendance Thread

30,000 actual butts in seats. 36k announced. 12 noon starts are just brutal so It'll look half empty which will piss off/bum out HCFB, which leads to the start on his part of not good thoughts, which leads to us bumming out too.....also down the road a bit.

I'm slightly concerned that Otto's Army hasn't tweeted at all since May 28th...usually this account posts a good amount to get the students going, promote that student tickets have sold out for the year, etc. I'm sure the students will be fine, they've been great these past few years, but just an observation

Can I get a class of 2005 shirt?

230 tickets sold yesterday by my count. I'll track today and tomorrow as well, I've got my map screenshots ready to go lol.

If that pace stays the same, I think we're looking at a 38k crowd. If it picks up I think its possible to get to 40k, but we will see. Thursdays and Fridays are usually better days than 230 from what I've counted in the past. Last year I thought Stanford would get to 40k and that ended up around 39K. The map looks similar currently

Forecast calls for rain. Tough for tailgating but also for picking apples and raking leaves. Perhaps a dry day under the roof watching football creates some interest for casual fans looking for something to do. 37K announced...34K butts in seats.

And as a reminder for those with extra seats, Syracuse makes it easy to donate to Vets through VetTix right through the Cuse app.

They give you a receipt if you can deduct donations. And you get a nice photo and note from the Vet who uses your seats. Great way to get other fans in the Dome and ensure a full venue. Can’t recommend them enough.

Unfortunately I’ll be out of town in Vermont for a family event and miss the game. Very rare for me but decided to join. Not sure my 3 tickets will be used.

judging by tailgate sign ups...

The announced crowd will be about 38k and we will have around 32k in the building if I had to guess.

From a negative attendance impact it's pretty much the perfect storm for Sat. SU coming off a loss, an opponent the casuals think will probably be a pushover (they aren't), god awful weather forecast and a Noon kick. Winning cures all but even Fran can't overcome all of those factors.

We really need to look into building an indoor stadium.

They’ve been great these past few years?? I believe every game last year (except Miami ) my old season ticket that is now in the student section was empty. And the Miami game was Thanksgiving weekend so students weren’t on campus. Bad look.

The average Vet makes like $600,000. It blows my mind that they’re always on the lookout for free tickets. Heck, I spent $500 on some canine UTI pills. Sheesh.

Don't get me started on the student section. It's always empty.
