UConn Game Thread...

Agree 1000%. Ball possession was critical. Having a great rebounder on the floor is important. Would say this even if we lost. Who were we going to sub for him?

Oh, paging Kevin Ollie. Your participation trophy will be available tomorrow aft.

Yeah obviously he needs to work on the FTs and the other guys need to keep it out of his hands at the end but the pros seriously outweigh the cons of keeping him on the floor.

Fun game fun team. No better way of settling a full stomach than beating the puppies.

I started thinking the same thing - this is a very fun, easy team to cheer for. They do some things that make me want to pull my hair out at times but they really play hard and get the most out of what they have. Seem like they have very likable personalities also.

Yeah if you're confident you can pull it off, it's not a bad way to go.

I'd like to believe we planned it that way.

I would too. But I don't. But but (not two t's), might be something to think about in the future.

Don't underestimate the leadership of Gbinje and Cooney. We will miss that next year.

I know. I meant if we had Chukwu THIS season. Imagine him anchoring the middle and allowing Lydon to roam and rebound weak side? Wow.

We will definitely miss Cooney and G. No question.

Agree and in my case I have no hair left anyway so its even better and less painful.

That game felt like a mid season big east game for first place.

That sequence where both teams combined for 4-5 3s in about a 75 second stretch was just crazy.

Throw away rankings for a moment and that was probably the best played game so far this season. Plays being made all over the court, good passing, tough d and good shooting. If the rankings showed 5 and 7 on the screen it would be zero surprise with the quality out there. uconn has some talent and some good pieces. No napier or walker but Hamilton is impressive.

Just wait until he turns 7.

Looks like he's going to Chuck E. Cheese after the game with the rest of the third graders.

With that haircut, I can't help but picture Hobbes under Calvin's arm.
