I get this sentiment but I actually disagree with it. Our passing game is elite, and the short passing game is essentially run plays. There is no true need to have a run game when you can pick up 4 or 5 yards whenever we want through the air. I think if we had a few more stout pieces on defense we would be 10-1. I truly believe this team is 2 dlineman and 2 above average corners away from being a playoff team.

We are 8 and flipping 3. We’ve had exactly one season like this in what, 15-20 years? But people are mad that we didn’t cover.

I respect just about everyone on this board but I will say this, I for one feel so fortunate for this season right now. I know you guys have suffered so much this century, and as a newer fan (2021) I'm going to savor every moment of this.

Understand this take which many cite. Games we lost our elite quick game got shut down leaving us impotent. In the red zone or more accurately inside the 10 - it presents challenges.

I was just looking at some stats for giggles. I thought it was interesting that Kyle McCord has roughly the same amount of passing yards, completions and TD’s this season as TD had in his career.

He’s put together a hell of a season by any passing metric we’ve ever witnessed here.

I think he’s in the NFL for a long time. Not necessarily as a starter, but there.

I would guess they end up in the Fenway Bowl. BC and Pitt don’t want it. No one in the ACC does. Our Greg teams will probably end up in the Boca or something better than Boston just before Christmas.

Better for them to get a semi local team than someone like UAB that brings 100 fans.
