Thank god for Atlantis, we have the chance to get some good wins there, because Wiscy/GTown looks like they won't help us too much. Lehigh will end up being a big time win.

Thankfully the ACC is so loaded this year that 21-22 overall wins and 10 wins in conference will get us the NCAA no matter what we do OOC probably.

I believe the Verizon Center is considered a Syracuse home game.

It's derived from an ancient cheer, "Hoya Saxa". So it used to be a nothing at all.

In modern usage it describes a long line of thugs and miscreants that no one in the Press will criticize out of fear of being labelled a Racist. The Washington Post and the local radio media would rather slash their own wrists than to even hint that Michael Graham was an out-and-out thug or that AI was a convicted felon.

While we are on the subject of The Hoyas consider their NCAA tournament resume for the past eight years. A period in which they have never gotten to the second weekend of the Tourney:

NCAA results
2008- lost 1st round
2009- NIT
2010- lost 2nd round
2011- lost 1st round
2012- lost 2nd round
2013- lost 1st round
2014- NIT
2015- lost 2nd round

So maybe Hoyas translates to "choke" or "joke".

But they will NEVER fire JT III. He'll be the coach there as long as he feels like doing it.
