UK fan attacks Syracuse & Ennis

Apparently this person never watched Tyler Ennis play.
Truly great point guards - Jason Kidd, forexample - can control a game without putting up huge numbers.

I would like to see the Orange play Kentucky.
Some very interesting match ups...especially in the frontcourt.

More than winning a NC? I mean I want a UConn 2011 tournament run all crappy teams rather than HAVING to play Kansas and Kentucky in March/April. I want another natty more than I want to beat any specific team.

True...

But embarrassing either of those two teams like we did IU last year would rustle my jimmies correctly as well.

I don't want to play either of those two teams, especially in March.

Tells me he has not even seen 1 SU game. If you try to judge Tyler from the statsheet, except for the Assist/TO ratio, you will fail. Magic Johnson was 3 times as valuable as his stat line shows. Thats the nature of the point guard. You do not get any box score points for choreography. Everybody talks intangibles, and Tyler is flashing them to the world.

Magic Johnson lit up a stats sheet. Him along with Jason Kidd are just terrible examples of Tyler.

This UK bozo wouldn't accept anyone being better than one of his beloved Pussycats.

Oh did you notice that their fans are now blaming Cal for starting the 40-0 talk leading to the tee shirts. Not like their fans supported it or anything. :rolleyes:

I always get a chuckle hearing 'shiners talk smack. Here's a few details he glossed over:

- Kentucky is 10-3, including a stellar 1 - 2 record against T-25 teams. It has an RPI of 25; SU is 14-0, 2-0 against top 20 teams, with an RPI of 3
- Kentucky lost to a team SU beat on a neutral court;
- Aaron Harrison's scoring a little more than TE (because they need him to), but he's even with TE on RB's and is averaging less than half of The Creator's assists;
- Ditto Young, who's dishing out a colossal 1.8 A's per game;
- Andrew Harrison's numbers are less than TE's across the board, and he's averaging 2.5 TO's per game, double the rate of TE;
- Randle's a forward (?)
- Not sure where the NCAA flame out remark came from, since Ky didn't even make the tournament last year.

Not to mention that the "University" of Kentucky has virtually no academic requirements beyond 4.1 months of fake classes. They obviously pay their way to the top D-League class every year and make a mockery of the term "student athlete". Their coach has had FF wins voided at two separate institutions and shows no signs of emerging from the cloud of corruption that has followed his career.

Other than that, great to hear from UK's "top commentator".

I was just checking out his FB page, and he was whining what the big deal was about Wiggins, so I posted, "Yeah he hasn't been the same since he split from his AAU point guard, Tyler Ennis."

Andrew Harrison averages a turnover every 11.6 minutes
Aaron Harrison is a little better, averaging a turnover every 16.6 minutes played.

Meanwhile, Ennis averages a turnover every 27.1 minutes played. That's 63% better than Aaron and 133% better than Andrew.

Using the Wins Produced per 40 Metric:

Randle - .245
Ennis - .229
Cauley-Stein - .223
Aaron Harrison - .197
Andrew Harrison - .133

Total Wins Produced:

Ennis - 2.6
Randle - 2.4

Doing the things that produce wins for teams, Tyler does them better than all but Randle and he does it while spending more time on the floor.

So, Ennis is still listed as the #3 best freshman on Jeff Goodman's ESPN list. After reading through his top 10, I made it to the comments. Some clown (not sure if guy or girl or both) posted this flem:

Someone please explain to me why Ennis is getting this much press?
His numbers are about as good as Andrew Harrison's and James Young, Aaron Harrison have better numbers while playing on the same team as each other and Julius Randle.
He leads Syracuse to 49 big points vs Miami? At home? Cmon.
The game before he didn't even score with 9 assists. Wow. They give you an assist at Syracuse for a chest pass to someone at halfcourt and they drive the lane for a layup.
Just because Syracuse won't play anyone, especially a road game, causing an undefeated record going into conference play, definitely doesn't mean Ennis, or Syracuse, is all that good. There are 15 - 20 point guards better than Ennis. Including Andrew. Syracuse will start losing just like everyone else as soon as they're forced to play on the road. Unfortunately they won't lose that many, because their ACC schedule is very favorable. After their annual cupcake non-conference, they don't have to go to UNC, Notre Dame, or NC State. Villanova's early run gave them a nice ooc game, but even that was at home. They will lose some though, probably 7 games. Their schedule will give them another paper 2 seed, and they'll bail out before the Elite 8. Typical Syracuse basketball season.

Many others chimed in to defend Syracuse and Ennis, but it is typical drivel from these commonwealth hacks.

Must be passing out free bath salts again down in Pennsyltucky.

My impression is that this guy most likely has some form of mental ation.

And I don't mean that in the careless insult type of way. I mean that he has something wrong with his brain. It's not his fault.

Kentucky fans only care about filling up a stat sheet, much like the Kentucky players - which is probably why a team with as much talent as they have can't play together and win.

I want a matchup with Kansas and Kentucky in March more than anything.
Why?
Kentucky plays in the NIT.
Syracuse already beat Kansas in the real tournament... last game of the 2002-2003 season.

It's hard for them to watch games when their eyes are so close together.

Dude needs to worry about his own problems and not where Cuse is ranked - KU looks to be on a path for back to back early loses - in the NIT

Let me guess, he "likes" Winn-Dixie and "Finding Bigfoot", too?
