Ummm we open -3.5 over cornell

Not sure why anybody finds this surprising - they are 115th in KP we are 106th in KP, and valued at about 0.5 points better on a neutral floor. Basically viewed as the same level of team. Add the 3.5 points for Home Court Advantage and that is pretty much the opening line. If you would have asked me, I would have expected -4.0 as the opening line.

As I said before, Vegas pretty much uses the same system as KP to set opening lines -- they will then allow them to be moved a few points afterwards.

Remember when we thought it was inconceivable to lose to Colgate? Nothing stupid better happen tonight. We don't need Cornell to think they can push us around too.

C'mon the guys from Cornell are Ivy League and very smart!!! They know better than to bite the hand that feeds them exposure over the long term for a little one night fun.

Let’s face it. This game (and every other for that matter) comes down to how many Fouls the refs decide to call on Mintz drives

You think it's asking too much to see JJ replicate his 2 out of 3 shooting from 3 vs UVA.

Right now the spread is -4.5 and 81% of the money is on Cuse. No way that many people can be wrong.

The O/U is 166 so we should see a fun game.

We better defend and rebound, not play in spurts but an entire game with energy.
We won't only lose if we fail to do those things.. we will get embarrassed. Hope the staff has our guys dialed in but I am more nervous than I should ever be playing another "local" school.

Cornell's bigs are like 6'8" and shoot 3s. Going to be a game for Maliq. Would love if McLeod could create an offensive advantage over these smaller guys, but I won't hold my breath, and he won't be able to guard the perimeter, so Maliq it is.

I understand, but if we don’t win by 15 I’ll be disappointed. Make a statement and blow the spread out the window.

Not an odds maker professionally, but looking at the schedule I would guess we would be favorites in 7, possibly 8 games
going forward. Things change once you're into the schedule, but right now it looks like a struggle.

I think we roll the next 2.

Problem is with the good teams who know our weaknesses.

Let’s start with a win and no car accidents.

I would like Judah to use the whole half-court on offense. He is predictable with his straight line drives to the basket. How about using other lanes with a mid-range game or corner three? Good defensive teams can shut him down and thus break our back.

Good thing is no one should be able to stay in front of Judah so our offense should be improved. Main concern is if they get hot from deep and it starts looking like the first 25 minutes of Colgate.

We have the athletic advantage and they are among the worst at taking care of the ball - believe I read 314th in turnovers. We should really use the press to our advantage tonight.
40 minutes of hell.

My favorite term for this is the masses are #@^es

the 5 min stretch where the fouled everyone out changed the game to a slog,

Listen, I made enough betting against us during the GROB era to build a summer lakehouse. Am I giving most of it back these days? Probably.
Any advice? I've basically stayed away from sports betting minus 10-50 bucks here and there.
