Before this season, Ohio State had not had a 7 loss season since 1897. The 2nd longest active streak (and the new longest streak as of the end of today's Gator Bowl) is Florida State at 1975.

Ohio State went to a BCS game every year from 2002 to 2010 except for 2004. I'd trade a 1-year bowl fan for that kind of success.
