Frustrating. 'Cuse played hard as hell but some poor decision making killed them. Richardson went full on frost mode which was the dagger.
I'd be concerned if I was a UNC fan. They play to their potential about 60% of the time...

Why would you want a time out? Your best player had the ball in his hands. He just needs to make a play for himself or for someone else. Mali was pretty bad tonight. Too many turnovers and bad decisions.

Loss, but we had a very good showing against a top 10 team on the road. Nothing to hang their heads about. G showed that he belongs on the ACC first team, IMO, even thought he didn't shoot it well and he turned it over. Richardson also had a tough night. No way we beat UNC unless TC, G and MR all shoot it well.

Wouldn't have been a steal. Limit turnovers and have better shot selection.
More than 5 losses this year are attributed to our sloppy play more so than talent differential or depth.
You're going to have that with a young team, but, doesn't get you any merit points either.

Eh, tough loss - felt like UNC was trying to hand it to us. They remind me of Maryland, everyone loves them, but they seem all over the place.
Mali had a ROUGH game - gotta recognize that those drives are going nowhere. At least not with attempts to finish like that around the rim.
Passing was pretty bad all-around for a decent amount of the game.

We don't get enough easy baskets. We had several chances around the rim and on the break, but didn't convert. I thought at times tonight we were playing too fast. We can't handle it well enough to play fast and still make plays. Tonight could have pout us in the tournament. We still have to win one more game.

On the ropes numerous times, never quit and made a game out of it. Somehow, the pace of the game seemed to favor UNC. I really don't know, after about 28 games, what offense we run. There is too much dribbling and probing for an opening by G, Richardson, and Cooney. We never get it into the blocks early in the shott clock, even as a decoy for a kickout. I guess the sure-fire path to the HOF is play 12 creampuffs every year before conference play, because I just don't see high level coaching the last 2 years in league games.
