What SHOULD have to happen for that to be the case is we practically run the table and win or come very close to winning the ACCT and make the NCAAT. My fear is something less than that will be enough and we’re going to continue limping along when we need to just amputate the leg and move on sooner than later.

I feel like I held out a while on my Red criticisms, but the latest stretch of games has been enough to push me over the edge. I don’t see any promise of the ceiling we want/need from him and I’m skeptical a late season heroic run would be evidence of his ability to sustain success.

Well, we're all skeptical. I get that. But you still root for it, right? I heard a moron on the radio last week actually say he was actively rooting against Syracuse so that Autry would get fired. Pauly Scibilia slammed the phone down on him.( in a matter of speaking ). Full credit to Pauly for that one.

I will never root for us to lose. The question I originally replied to asked about the goodwill Red would get for a win. I do not want more goodwill for Red.

It’s like when I wash the dishes. My wife wants the dishes washed and is grateful they’re washed; I’m not earning any extra goodwill for washing them.

i dont think UNC is that good. theyve already lost to cal stanford and smu in ACC play

problem is SU makes many bad decisions and takes a lot of bad shots,,,and has very poor interior defense that is susceptible to foul trouble. UNC strength is interior scoring. If SU can stop the interior players of UNC they will win...but if SU plays zone and UNC goes off from 3, its gonna suck...imo the zone will not work...but i reckon that will be the gameplan. kyle is very poor in the middle of the zone imo so i hope they just play man to man and grind

with good coaching and solid play I think SU can win

on offense its all about getting assists and ball movement
