UNC less then 3 weeks

No non-conference tune ups make the first week really hard to predict. Syracuse with a whole new defensive scheme brings even more uncertainty.

Regardless of game outcome, let us never forget that UNC threw away the integrity of its entire academic mission in order to offer fake classes to ease the eligibility of their athletes.

If the O-line/DeVito show good improvement SU will be able to put up points on them. But I worry that the defense won't be able to slow UNC down enough.

Great point, the record and even lack of development at some positions will fly under the radar with most just being grateful we take the field and remain safe week to week.

Agree, but UNC is humming on offense. Their true soph qb played like really well last year and will have plenty of weapons this year. Something or O lacks.

Starting to get that excited and antsy feeling when the season is about to start, yet I feel the need to keep tapping the brakes a little. But, I agree that I’d rather see N.C. earlier than later. A chance to learn a lot about ourselves, win or lose, instead of playing a much weaker team.

I hope you are right, but their qb is more ahead of the curve ending year 1 than ours was year 3. I know the ol has a part in that. As far as our weapons, still alot of question marks minus Harris and the running backs. 3 wr spots are essentially up for grabs.

I am sad to say this is the first time in my life I am not excited for the college football season.

It’s due to the fact that I’ve only missed one SU football home game in 29 years and I travel to several away games each season.

It just won’t be the same sitting at home every weekend watching the games on television with no fans in the stands. COVID19 Sucks !!!

Concerned with the O line. New Coordinators ironing out wrinkles as we go so Im not as optimistic. We will get better as the season progresses. If we continue to have a season.
