Yeah when you squinted hard you could see a slight improvement. But losing by 29 to Wake that year gave me serious concerns. That just can't happen and was a baddd sign.It was strange year one. 20 wins, but we got blown out a number of times. I thought it was due to the make up of the team. 3 years later, it’s really more a reflection of the coach.
His teams just flat out lack toughness.
maybe he should be head coach for the remainder of the year.Makes me like William Kyle even more than I already do
Works for both endsDon't sleep on the occasional laxative effects of the Olive Garden Tour of Italy. Something about that alfredo sauce sometimes...
I've heard. From a friend.
2005 for me. And it wasn’t even the tour. GrossThanks, man, for activating my PTSD.
I had a BAD case of food poisoning after ordering the Tour of Italy like 15-16 years ago. Haven’t been back to an Olive Garden since!
Feels like more directed at teammates, not the coach.Damning autry quote number 436.
He’s clearly passionate enoughmaybe he should be head coach for the remainder of the year.
I think they end at 16-16. One more win. Possibly another in 1st round of ACC15-13 current record with @Wake @Louisville then home vs PITT then ACCT
Will we end with a losing record ??????
they have other options, that's what makes it so insaneAlong with poor in-game adjustments, Red hitching his wagon to JJ will be one of the main reasons he only lasts 3 seasons.
Maybe, I took it as a shot at both.Feels like more directed at teammates, not the coach.
The biggest problem is we never play like our hair is on fire. We play like we are good and we aren't. It's infuriating.I was really hoping they'd pull this out today so that Red would have something positive on his way out. A few more chances, but it's not looking good. I talked myself into thinking the team would play with their hair on fire after Duke.
That's damning to the players too.Damning autry quote number 436.
until he got (ANOTHER) technical foul3.) Donnie Freeman was invisible
Your not wrong but who recruited and coaches those players. That's damning to the players too.
From the very start when the players were introduced Donnie was listless and had his head down. I thought, “Uh oh,” and I was right. What the heck is happening to him? He is our best player? Something is going on between the players, methinks. Just a guess from a therapist who tries to understand dynamics.Several games in a row Freeman avoids the press after the game. A real leader has enough toughness to speak to the press. He runs and hides just like he does during games. He pouted and sulked during the entire game. Put some energy into the game instead of getting technicals. Don’t waste $1.5+ million on him next year.
And Q won us a couple of games that year.We had Maliq Brown, too.
