If you fill out a bracket on Draftkings or Fanduel, or whatever other betting apps are approved in NY, you can’t pick NY teams to win. You have to select the non-NY team and if there’s ever a matchup between 2 NY teams, you just get no points for it.

So there’s a silver lining of us missing it and NY schools, in general, being buttcheeks at basketball; you don’t have to worry about losing out on points.

*all assuming you’re placing bets in NY.
