Against an inferior opponent. You have to find a way to win. Even after all the turnovers, Donnie’s missed ft. etc, Red had a chance to be a coach and foul up 3. Even if we did it early, couldn’t really get mad at him, because he’d be doing the right thing. His head just is not in it.

He was to busy wasting a challenge that lost cost us a TO.

Watch the last play in regulation when they are clearly going for a 3. Kyle's guy comes up to screen our guard, and instead of Kyle pushing up as he should and taking the 3 away, he has both feet in the paint and gives up an open 3. That is awful coaching and can never happen.

You could instantly tell they were going for a 3 because they were slow bringing it up. If you go for a 2 you go fast and leave time for another possession after the foul. If you go for a 3 you want to leave almost no time for opponent to get another shot. I wonder if our coaches realize and call out these things.

And Starling couldn't get over the screen, as normal.

Just got home from the game. I had great seats. Not quite Melos seat but pretty close. We lost the game due to turnovers. BC must have had 20.or more steals. Donnie was a little off and we did not get good, open looks for Tyler Betsey but it was the steals that beat us.

I know this board really likes to rip on and blame JB for everything happening now but JB would not have lost that game to BC today with our 7 point lead with under 3 minutes to go. His slide rules at the end of games usually worked.

JB also fouled with up by 3 with time running out. I guess Red didn’t learn that.
