I've brought them up before as our best case scenario peer as well. For some reason people here think we're higher on the totem pole then them when in reality they have been wayyy better for about 20 years at this point.

State school vs private school makes it an interesting conversation. UMinn are 3x bigger than SU undergrad, endowment, etc. But we could potentially be a Private UMinn football wise within the next 5 years vs 30 years ago when Cuse we're something a bit more.

Think it was more of in a sense of the glory days being back in the 50s/60s and now are an afterthought both within the conference and nationally. Also in a dreadful recruiting area which makes everything difficult if not borderline impossible.
