I'd be shocked. Pretty sure that until two years ago, when the starters were Kol, Fig and Dwan, there had always been a starter from NY. Pretty remarkable.

The Tournament started in 1971.

Every tournament has had a Final Four, even though "Championship Weekend" at one site didn't begin until 1986.

Maryland has been to 30 Final Four appearances since 1971, and Syracuse has been to 28 (minus the 1990 season).

TLN should have said "Most Final Four Appearances" instead.

I don't doubt we were in on him. UNC really stacking some talent, they are gonna be a problem this year and next at minimum.

Agreed, I think their a dark horse NC contender. Loaded team with very few holes. They have had trouble with injuries the last few years, need to stay health. Raio is a major problem.

I'll believe it when I see it. Their biggest hole is arguably the most important position. Rutgers fans are claiming Scalamandre lost his starting spot but I'd trust Baghdad Bob over that fanbase.

If this Cuse team is going to do anything, teams being a "problem" is irrelevant, if they are a contender they will win the games.

unc has talent but no one on that roster has ever even won a playoff game...theyll be a tournament team for sure but i bet theyre still a year away from being a real NC contender

Will certainly not believe that until we hear from a trusted source, but if they are looking to get more serious about football after the playoff fiasco, then ND getting salty is the gift that keeps on giving.

I obviously have no insider info here but the older Faison did not look the same this past season so I wouldn't be surprised if he's going fball full time.

not a huge loss considering he already wasnt much of a factor last year, but still not ideal for the irish...they lose a ton...top three scorers, faison, lynch, ramsey...they might be closer to 5 in the ACC than 1
