i just got an early line of USF -4.5. I have a buddy that lives in Vegas and has ZERO Cuse affiliation said to put $500 (on-line early line max) on Cuse...FWIW I was STUNNED at the number.

Vegas insider has Dungey listed as questionable. This may have a lot to do with it.

maybe they're thinking we're going with our walkon who threw less than 50% against LSU and is now playing outdoors.
Listen even I am confused at worst I would say pick 'em but I guess Vegas wants to see us on the road the first time before they believe. I think with Dungey we win this game no doubt with Mahoney it is 50/50. I don't get this line Vegas is saying on a neutral field USF would be -2 and that is insane we have shown enough that we shouldn't be an underdog.

Do we know for sure if Dungey is going to play? Shafer didn't sound certain the last I heard him speak. I think we've been assuming he'd be ready but have we seen any confirmation?

They are a young team as well and I don't think their athletes are as good as ours. They don't have much of a home field advantage either. I think the line was a mistake, which is now off the board.

Trust me i hope you are right but i have hated this game from day one. First road game with a young team, South florida always has talent and given our Florida kids they pick it up. So hope you are right but feel like we are in for a dog fight

SU is going down there, locking the doors, kicking ass, and chewing bubblegum.
USF has a lot of talent as Taggert has recruited pretty well especially with USF's conference affiliation. With Dungey though we win this game. Before the season I had this game as a 50/50 but with Lester giving me confidence I think we win this game.

Ok next time i will agree just to throw you off
i worry about all of them, but the next two are not my big concern. I am worried about getting to 5-1 and then not being able to get the 6th. The 2011 syndrome. Just don't know with kids, injuries etc.
Stats aren't everything, especially at this time of the year, but they aren't nothing either and just about every stat i look at heavily favors the Cuse. Assuming we have Dungey and Erv back, we will be at full strength. USF is like Pitt, always recruit well but never meet the potential. Somebody smarter than me will have to explain that.
This line is the best thing that could have happened. Shafer will use it to get our guys fired up.
