I was going to post this in the other ncaa thread, but anyone penciling in two wins against BC needs to be very cautious. Nothings a given and thats why we need to protect our home turf. Be loud, be proud, be Orange!!!
So much parity in college basketball this year. It's like we are seeing NCAA tournament level upsets during non-conference seasonCrazy league this year, prolly moreso than ever before

SU Stats for comparison
our opponents average RPI is 111, the teams we've beaten have an average RPI of 127 and the two losses average out to 19. The worst RPI team we have faced this year is G-town @ 231. Where as BC played 3 teams above 300 and 3 more above 250. That must have been hard to find that many bad teams.

As of now BC is #74 in KP rating, and we are #46. If we played today , BC would be about a 0.5 point favourite at home (give a point or two)
We definetely need to take them seriously.
We need to take every single team seriously.
Syracuse essentially gamed a crappy RPI formula this year.. although unintentional.
Beating middle of the pack programs instead of bad programs at home. really does not prove that one team is better than the other. They are all games you should win either way.
