Multiple people taking at the same time, coaches talking amongst themselves and ignoring the players, vacant stares from players, just a total clown show.

what i wanna know is why the offense crumbles in the 2nd half - it happens almost every game

i think - its because the opponents figures out the SU plan and makes stymying adjustments...but i cant tell if it is also that the players arent properly executing

What about that Betsey fellow the last couple minutes? He was more productive in those 2 minutes than the rest of team was combined in the first 18 minutes of the second half.

I’m fuming. Legit fuming. The team plays so boneheaded. Cross court passes that get picked off. Failing to box out with the game on the line. Driving through the lane and throwing up a boneheaded shot.

Red is clueless. Fran quit on us in the fall. Who made both of these terrible decisions needs to be fired on the spot. These were not hard decisions. Both candidates had 0 legit head coaching opportunities. And what do we do? We hire both of them…and it shows.

Amateur hour on the hill. Nothing has changed.

Go out and support the women’s team. At least they’re a competent basketball team with a great head coach.

They deserve it way more than the men do.

Some of our players looked checked out I wonder if we will see more of that going forward now that they will not make the tournament and the coach will be fired. Might see even more selfish play as kids will try to get tape together for the portal.

Final score was an illusion. Kingz and Kyle were our best players tonight. White had his moments. Our guards sucked. Program as low as it can go. Red living on borrowed time.

First it was a team of head cases. Then no NIL. And now I’m sure there will be something made up like this team is full of guys who refuse to eat their wheaties or something.

Just a pathetic loss.
-Donnie killed us. He’s not tough enough yet. You can have games where you can’t make a shot, that happens. But you can’t be physically abused on both ends, refuse to go to the basket and only shoot jumpers on which you can’t get fouled and have the ball taken away from you. It was fitting that the game ended when he could not box out on a free-throw.
-I cannot for the life of me understand why Kiyan played so much. As I said in the game thread, Red went with Kiyan for the majority of the second half yet when they had a chance to win, he put Betsey in. That makes no sense. Kiyan was 1-6 with poor defense. We could not score at all, and Betsey just languished on the bench. Makes zero sense.
-when Sadiq White thinks it’s OK to shoot a three-pointer early in the shot clock on one of the most important possessions of the game, It says so much about the program. None of it good.
-Our offense is a joke. We were literally trying to force the ball to Kyle at the top of the key and had turnovers as a result even though Kyle can do absolutely nothing there. There were times when Kyle was backing down and four guys just watched him. We don’t move the ball or drive and dish and as a result, we don’t get good or uncontested looks.
-I’d be remiss if I didn’t once again point out how terrible our guards are defensively.
-no meaningful games after January once again. At no point did I ever have faith that we’d win. We deserve better.
