Sorry. Can’t blame Donnie or that last play. Especially the coach. He certainly played poorly. But, if he gets that rebound, do we really think we’re getting a 3 off? Va tech coach was screaming to his team”if he misses, foul them” he missed and oh, they didn’t need to foul.
The game was lost from the under 8 time out to the 4 minute mark.
How do you sit both Donnie and Nait during that stretch?!?! They only had 3 fouls.
I’ve never seen a coach so stubborn and insistent on Siting his best players. It continues to be insane.

Wait, you mean you can coach a team to foul when up 3 to prevent them from having a chance to tie the game in the final seconds? Wonder if Autry picked up on that.
It didn't matter tonight, but it speaks volumes about Donnie and his lack of strength.

Seriously insane. I feel like we just took basic strategy and tossed it out. I don’t think Boeheim is the perfect coach. Like you don’t need to follow him 100%, but you don’t need to do everything opposite of what he would do. Like Boeheim would never I mean never sub out Freeman or George in the under 8 minute stretch of the game. He has either no clue what he is doing or zero control over what is happening. As Randolph Childress said on the broadcast they are overthinking and oversimplifying things.

The reason for keeping Kiyan is Dad can financially support the program, including paying a new coach. Also he is a young player with a lousy coach. I'd like to see what another coach could pull out of him. And to the poster who mentioned mom not being at games, I wondered the same thing. Has she given up on the program?
I think Kiyan’s great. Would love to have him back.

As easy as it is to place blame on the players, these results are not on them. Any serious person has to acknowledge that the problems over the past decade start and end with the administrators and coaching staff. Players have come and gone, and most have taken heat along the way. Many were talented and could have had more productive careers if they had played for a different school (as difficult as that may be to admit).
Syracuse is welcome to start trying any day now...or are we doomed to be mediocre forever because we refuse to change the things that made us great once long ago.

Funny I remember so many people posting how the culture was going to change when lala was going to bring all her famous friends to the games.
