after the game Donnie was said to be totally despondent and takes full responsibility for the last 2 losses.
Thats outrageous. I hope someone told him to forget that nonsense.

THIS is what I posted earlier this week. Boeheim was good at making sure his best players were on the court as much as possible. Why not? Boeheim was pretty good about making sure his role players knew that PT was linked to things like effort and shot selection. Take a bad shot and sit, etc. Why not?Seriously insane. I feel like we just took basic strategy and tossed it out. I don’t think Boeheim is the perfect coach. Like you don’t need to follow him 100%, but you don’t need to do everything opposite of what he would do. Like Boeheim would never I mean never sub out Freeman or George in the under 8 minute stretch of the game. He has either no clue what he is doing or zero control over what is happening. As Randolph Childress said on the broadcast they are overthinking and oversimplifying things.
Team showing promise.
Red will turn this around.
Moral victory!
3-14 yesterday with horrible defense and total lack of hustle. He deserves some responsibility. But Red is the main factor and our lack of organized offense is a huge reason for the poor looks he gets on that end.Thats outrageous. I hope someone told him to forget that nonsense.
Another bad look is Melo leaving very early.
Yeah, his postgame audio was depressing. He's hyper cognizant that he's played poorly and made crucial late game mistakes.after the game Donnie was said to be totally despondent and takes full responsibility for the last 2 losses.
I've been impressed with his postgame comments and how he has handled himself through the good and bad.after the game Donnie was said to be totally despondent and takes full responsibility for the last 2 losses.

He should be mad at himself. Did not come through in crunch time against bad teams.Thats outrageous. I hope someone told him to forget that nonsense.
Kyle didn't take a single shot in the 2nd half after being 5 for 6 in the first.
The lineup that ballooned our lead to 10 in the first half - with Kingz at the 2 and Betsey at the 3 - was never together again the rest of the game.
Obviously, players have to make shots, rebound, take care of the ball and play D. We did all of that poorly last night. But the HC also has to put players in the best position to succeed and our staff repeatedly fails at that over and over again,
It's a stupid play and the coaches shouldn't allow it. Box out. Sometimes you have to move your feet to rebound.I mentioned it earlier (and could be wrong), but i think a couple games ago he didn't get a rebound late on a FT because the dude went around his back. He kinda went and talked to George after - he was upset.
I think after that, he started doing the thing where he just faces the guy he is supposed to block out. Not sure if the plan is for George to run around and get it or just to squeeze 'em in!
He didn't, but it's a team game and they haven't played team basketball the second half of the last two games. Play a a team and take the pressure off the individuals and get them solid, high percentage shots, not the nonsense they were throwing up last night in the second half other than a few dunks and layups VT was giving in the last minute instead of open 3s.He should be mad at himself. Did not come through in crunch time against bad teams.
if somehow that strategy actually worked ( not boxing out with your back and shoulders but instead bodying up face to face opposite direction ) someone better and smarter would have figured that out long ago. this ain't the free-throw fosberry flop revelation . just poor basketball. and we have tape to prove it .I think after that, he started doing the thing where he just faces the guy he is supposed to block out. Not sure if the plan is for George to run around and get it or just to squeeze 'em in!
It annoyed us as fans because JB took it to an extreme and when the media started asking him questions about it, he doubled down and restricted the bench even more.THIS is what I posted earlier this week. As fans, we hated it. Then again, as fans, we were also fortunate enough to get to be fans in March also. Maybe we were wrong...
Right, but in the hey day... we really did not need Pearl on the bench for 10 minutes. 30,000 people paid to see him... not his understudy (even if that was Sherman Douglas). Gene Waldron, forced from PG to SG his Senior season, somehow scored 40 points in a game. Red would have taken him out to keep him from getting too many minutes. "We needed to get our scorers in the game." Forget the plan... sometimes, if not all times, you need to ride your hot hand...It annoyed us as fans because JB took it to an extreme and when the media started asking him questions about it, he doubled down and restricted the bench even more.
