I’ve had so many problems with connections post covid, that I didn’t even blink and paid the $1,000 for the direct breeze flight. I just can’t take it anymore. Unfortunately it looks like the airline knows there are people like me. lol.

I extended my trip from the 2nd to the 8th... The Luxor ended up being $105 a night about $950 total with all the resort fees, but I the plane their on JetBlue on the 2nd for $180, and United Back for $129 on Tuesday. I guess I'm a cheapskate. I can stay in Vegas in the hotel and work EST time and then party at night for the extra days there, and still pay the same as the $1k round trip!

HA. I booked United back on the 8th... Goes to LAX and Newark... Newark I love for restaurants, and LAX never been so eh, get home same day and get to explore.

The signature would be a hike, or an Uber to either the stadium or Mandalay Bay where you could walk to the stadium. I don’t believe it’s actually connected to a casino. Prolly no bueno for people watching for that reason. I had friends stay there in December- I’ll double check.

When we last looked the other day, Mandalay Bay was around the same price as NyNy and Park, so we pulled the trigger on MB. Can’t get any closer to the action.

Park is the only non smoking casino on your list, but the bigger casinos do a decent job with sucking it out. I don’t really notice the smoke unless I’m in an older casino, but maybe someone with a better nose can chime in.

I’ve flown Breeze to Vegas but I always upgraded to first class because between the booze on the plane and the baggage included, it was hardly more than the normal seats would have been for me. Last time I went it was like $750 first class. What a scam this will be. I will likely look elsewhere.

Yeaa I did that my first few flights with them, then the prices stopped making it worth it. I paid $270 for my first 1st class trip with them. I’m flying them Monday for $240 in “extra legroom”

Exactly. I flew first class to Vegas last fall. It was $750 like you said. Its currently $1,600 for October 4th. hahaha. Supply and demand. Yikes. I went with the non first class ticket.

You can't take it all in on one 3 day trip so prioritize, budget, and hydrate.

Wait until you find out how much that will cost. Returning a car to another city is a pricey additional cost. It is also an incredibly boring drive. Thus why I will probably fly up and not drive from Phoenix. I hate that drive.

I believe you, Drove from LA to Phoenix once, after you got by Palm Springs and Joshua Tree area it got pretty dull. I looked into the car rental, it wasn’t awful I will probably opt out of that option anyway.

That is all interstate. From Phoenix to Vegas is portions of 2 lane roads. Get behind the right yahoo, or an accident can tie you up forever. They are working on making it 4 lanes, but still not there yet.

And, proud of it... 2-8th at the Luxor ~$1000 bucks, Plane ticket on 2nd, $180, plane ticket on 8th, $129... Working at hotel on EST Time remote from 5am to 12PM PST... Free vacation and no work loss time. Brother paying half of the hotel bill... priceless.
