When I watched us run up the middle to start every series, I thought we were setting up the freeze option. Only it wasn’t 1987. And our OL didn’t contain Bednarz and Sims. And Flannary and Garrett and Stoeppel. And we didn’t have Moore and Kane and Glover at the wideouts. And Kelly at TE. Nor did we have Johnston, Owens and Drummond in the backfield. We also didn’t have the guy who should have won the Heisman that year, my favorite player behind Ernie, Don McPherson.

So after I was finished being sad over that comparison I did have one moment of happiness. It was so good to see Rex get a shot at QB. After everything the kid has been through, after he switched positions to help the team, chemo baldness long gone now. Who knows if he will see the field again but he got one more chance to stare down the MLB, take a snap, go through his progressions, and toss a couple. So glad to see him come out on the other side and line up again at his true position.

Thats all I got.

That's the best post that I have read in the past 24 hours.
