I could see the whole black v white racism card being rolled out by Etan and his ilk. (when your only tool is a hammer, everything is a nail.) On the surface, it screams double standard, at best.
I think it would behoove the school to let the public know (assuming it’s true) that Red had NIL money left over, and had other resources he chose not to utilize. Red was a funded as he thought he needed to be. In hindsight, that was an in accurate assessment of financial needs this day and age, and Syracuse boosters have rallied to make sure SU is in a place where money won’t stand in the way of our coaches and players competing for championships.
