just want to prep you guys mentally ahead of time. this game could be a lot of fun, but if you think you guys have had mind numbing turnovers in spades, you may not have watched many hoos games, or watched with too close of an eye to it.

this deal is very likely to see an uptick of as many as 50% greater turnovers than you see in a typical tilt. uva games average bleeding into mid 30's total, and somehow i doubt 'cuse will be playing this one close to the vest. duke-uva saw almost 40, and that's not unusual. their d has been tighter lately, but they still hunt turnovers like they supercede goals against.

I am riding high in the stratosphere after SLU just beat RIT. Virginia could win this game by 20 and I wouldn't care.

And at 7 to 6. I don't really consider that lacrosse. You might use the same equipment and the field might be similar dimensions, but if you have 50 collegiate lacrosse players and you can only put together SIX goals, there is something wrong with how you play the sport.

Get up and down the field, folks! Good defense is cool, but SIX goals?! Big 10 lacrosse is just a bad product. I watched Rutgers/Michigan and MD/Ohio State last weekend. Nobody hit second digits. Look, I grew up as a kid in the 90s and lacrosse wasn't on television. I'd watch the '89 or '91 championship on tape over and over and over.

I'd rather read a book than watch 7-6 lacrosse.
